About Me

I grew up on the North Carolina coast, where the sounds of waves were my constant companion. Now, I find myself on the complete opposite side of the country, navigating life on the coast of California.

Photography has always felt like a way of grasping time in my hands—still, vivid, and refusing to disappear. Each photo I capture is more than just an image; it’s a tether to memory, a piece of who I am. This blog is my lens, a medley of thoughts, emotions, insights, and humor suspended in the light they once held.

With each entry, much like the albums in my own mind, I’ve paired stories with the moments that brought them to life—pictures pressed against the weight of emotion, snapshots woven into the fabric of my journey. I invite you to explore these blank spaces and the polaroids within them.

While my camera captures the moments, my writing fills in the blank spaces—the stories behind the smiles and the reasons for the long, thoughtful gazes. It’s the prose between the pictures, the details you can’t see but that are essential to the story. It’s the context of the memories captured in the viewfinder.

Stay Tuned… I’m always up to something.
